Marquis Palmer is a doctoral candidate in the Centre for Criminology, Faculty of Law, at the University of Oxford, and a restorative justice practitioner with Common Justice, a survivor-centered restorative justice program that addresses serious violence without relying on incarceration. His current research is concerned with the relationship between gun violence, criminalization, mobility, and public space.
