Kwan-Lamar Blount-Hill, JD, PhD, is an assistant professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, Arizona State University. He is also the co-lead investigator of the Community Violence Prevention Project (CVPP), a collaboration with Jason Szkola, of Rowan University, through which they provide research and data analytic support to community violence intervention (CVI) programs and their stakeholders and partners. Dr. Blount-Hill is also an affiliate of ASU's Center for Violence Prevention and Community Safety, among other centers and institutes. His work on social group identity and intergroup dynamics, inclusive science, and practitioner-researcher collaboration has been recognized by scholar societies, including national awards from the American Society of Criminology, the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, and the Western Society of Criminology.
